Meet Eric Levin, Owner

Eric Levin developed a taste and passion for craft beer that he wanted to share with the rest of Georgia.  Great craft beverages were being made in other part of the country that deserved to be shared and celebrated locally.  At the same time, small craft breweries were significantly lacking representation in the market.  Eric saw a large gap in how breweries were being represented by large national distributors and decided that Modern Hops needed to be created to service this industry.  

In 2016 Eric jumped into the beer world by selling and delivering Cherry Street to the Savannah and Macon markets.  He was the company’s first driver, first salesperson, first warehouse guy, Eric.  With a strong background in strategic marketing and sales, Eric shifted his passion towards helping local Georgia craft breweries, distilleries, and retailers elevate their brand and company to a new level.  His desire has always been to make Georgia an elite craft beverage market and a destination for beer connoisseurs.
